Filmul Saptamanii

Rango ( desene animate ), Nota IMDB:    7.8/10

Rango este unul dintre filmele pe care le-am asteptat cu cea mai mare nerabdare la inceputul acestui an. Parte pentru ca eram sigur ca Johnny Depp va interpreta intr-un mod foarte amuzant un cameleon cu valente umane, parte pentru ca, dupa trailer, asteptam o animatie la care sa rad la fel de mult ca la Despicable Me.
Asa ca, alaturi de o punga de popcorn si o bere, mi-am pregatit muschii fetei pentru ceva ras sanatos. Ma simt nevoit sa incep prin a spune ca trailerul mi-a facut-o din nou. Rango este comedie pe cat este Toy Story drama. Povestea cameleonului ajuns accidental in orasul Dust din desertul necrutator si populat de tot felul de gandaci, serpi si soparle vorbitoare este povestea clasica a drumului initiatic pe care trebuie sa-l parcurga eroul principal. Scenariul (scris de John Logan) e construit inteligent si presarat cu replici inteligente, pe alocuri foarte amuzante, dar nu atat de mult incat sa faca din aceasta animatie o comedie. Si cu atat mai mult nu una pentru copii. Desi la inceput se afiseaza logoul Nickelodeon, Rango nu este un film populat de creaturi prea dragute sau o poveste atat de usor de inteles pentru un junior. Iar animatia care aproape atinge perfectiunea (in unele momente personajele arata foarte real, comparabile cu cele create pentru Final Fantasy, la vremea lor) poate provoca insomnii oricarui copil cu imaginatia in dezvoltare.
Actiunea filmului poate parea putin mai inceata pentru unii spectatori, dar respecta toate regulile unui western adevarat. Cred ca si Clint Eastwood e putin gelos ca nu el i-a dat vocea lui Rango. Dar potrivirea dintre vocea lui Depp si aspectul si miscarile lui Rango este aproape perfect. Parca-l vezi pe piratul din Caraibe putin lovit in freza in “pielea” cameleonului curajos (si doar  Gore Verbinski este acelasi regizor care a stat la carma ambelor filme).
